I think I want the disc, for the simple fact of Steam sucking ass for allowable bandwidth for download speeds. I dont wanna wait all fucking day just to get it downloaded and then it fail on some .dll file.

This is gonna be really good - Gary Oldman, Ed Harris, Emmanuelle Chriqui, and Ice Cube all lend their voices to Black Ops characters. The soundtrack is equally star-studded, including period-appropriate tracks from the Rolling Stones and Creedence Clearwater Revival...and not-so-period-appropriate tracks from Eminem.

Haven't got that far. I played a little and I'm now trying to do other things like get onto our server and junk. Lag has been some problems but not to bad.

Working on getting to our server now. Trying to connect with the admin as well and it will not allow me, so I'm still messing around with things.

Problem is I can't even log into the server. I did for a few minutes but then all the server crap earlier disconnected me. So not sure what is up with that.

Ok the lag issue. So far some I find ok and some have lag. Not sure what the deal is there.

So many people disappointed, saying pretty harsh things. Everyone let me know how it is! the good thing about Black Ops though is that unlike other games that dont live up to their expectations, this one will still have millions of people playing it either way.

i can't recommend buying this game until they fix the lag and some of the more common features like being able to add a server to your friends list if you join that server off of a buddy..

our server is online and has had some peeps in it..but i have yet to see it show up on the master server list.

the lag..or slowness..of the game is what is killing it right now.

only thing you can do is search for it by name:

International House of MoJo .M.

Only one of us online last night was able to find it in the server list...but other people did find their way there. We had 12 people in it at one point but i couldn't join them because i don't have it in my server list!!

I think alot of us are having different issues. I am able to add servers to my favorites, invite people and the lag has improved after tweaking my config file last night. I am sure they will be patching some time this week.

One thing I did notice was it shows there are over 7000 servers, but my list was only 750. There has to be a way to show all, just havent found it yet.

I would recommend the game because we always see stuff like this, and most of the time they fix it. There was a ton of guys online last night so there is no threat of not having people to play against.

Due to huge volume of traffic that is occurring on the back-end systems, a temporary fix was put into place to randomly limit the amount of servers that are listed on the browser. This is a temporary fix and we will provide an update once it has been fixed.




dont get me wrong..i think this game will be a freakin blast once they get the lag stuff sorted out. Seeing what Activisoon and Gameservers are saying about it..tneither will take the blame for it..they say it's not their fault. That doesn't give me a good feeling.

Overall the features of the game are great and mostly a nice change over MW and MW2. They just have to sort out this damn little bits of stuttering/lag and tweak the server and friends lists as well as do something with this bland ass RCOn tool we have to manage the server
