Bioware has unveiled an awesome Star Wars: The Old Republic trailer at E3, titled "Deceived". They are saying 2010 release and nothing more to my knowledge just yet.

Check out the trailer below! Will the graphics be this stunning? Will the PvP really be this immense? Let's hope so!

I wish they aimed for that scale of graphics. Sadly they are aiming just above the cel-shaded look. I wish they picked a better engine, but hey if gameplay is there and its awesome then just maybe they have me.

Trailer is nice but still not a game I would play. If it is more of a shooter then I would jump aboard. I personally think people are going to be disappointed in the game play.

I've played alot of MMO's - WOW, EVE, EQ, EQ2, SWG, COH/COV, DAoC, Lineage 2, and a couple others that i played for like a day and couldn't stand em - and the UI in this one looks fantastic, so does the gameplay footage. as for the graphics I think its great. ya gotta understand that with MMO's theres alot of pre-rendering etc that has to go on so to have that level of graphic's would be impossible. theres literally 100's of 1000's to millions of people that will be playing this game albeit spread across any number of servers, but imagine walking into a city with even 100 people in it with a graphic level that high. your internet connection couldn't handle it. no ones could, it would be clunky as all hell. probably to the point of being unplayable. single player or even small scale multiplayer games can handle high res graphics, and bioware IMO doesn't cheap out when it comes to graphics, but when your talking MMO's its a whole other ball game. SWG has/had that problem. you'd roll into a city and glitch out while everyones armor etc loaded. It was rarely smooth.
Personally i think it looks great. watch the voice over video, its in a couple other threads, and you can see the actually game play. it looks stellar. Like I said the UI looks beautiful , and the one thing I was curious as to how they'd pull off - The smugglers hiding behind objects thing - was done great! and c'mon its Bioware!! If your not familiar with their work pick up Mass Effect, best $20 you'll ever spend on a single player videogame.
anyways that my 2 cents, for what its worth.
