Lucas Arts and Bioware have recently confirmed what many have speculated...a new Star Wars MMO. Yes, MMO...not an FPS. While nearly all of us here started our gaming relationship with the legendary Star Wars Battlefront 1 and the amazing #1 team we had there, it appears SW:TOR might be a very popular game for us to reunite with some Star Wars adventuring!

The announcement is new, release is most likely a long way away and a lot of details have yet to be spilled by the Dev's. One thing they have said is you will choose Jedi or Sith and the choices you make will indeed determine your path with either faction. They are sying that there will be massive amounts of content in this game as well. Oh..and there will be PvP!

So, are you ready for some Star Wars again? Will you take the path of the dark side or will you be loyal to the Republic?

Ya know I was just looking at the pick on the old republic. When did the skin tight jump suit become fashionable in the old republic. I do believe in KOTOR the normba jedi outfit and robes were still in place. THe armor and regular clothes. The jumpsuit is a bit odd looking. Well unless were gonna be superheroes. with masks. I can be DARKHUNTER DARK JEDI. WIth a robin mask. LOL

id imagine that youll be able to pick from a wide range of clothes in game.

I don't know if I am a big fan of the style used in the Old Republic, but if the game is done right I might buy it.

They also have BattleFront 3 coming in 2009/2010. They have been quiet about it for long time now. Its been 2 years since Free Radical signed something with Lucasarts and they have had it listed under development as a secret Lucasarts project. I believe it will be unveiled at some point in 2009 for a Fall release or a 2010 release.
