After 3 second place finishes a third place and a 4th place finish I finall got a win tonight. Probably my least favorite track turned into my first league win.The race was at the famed Milwaukee Mile. 75 laps of short track goodness.
The picture above shows my pass on the last lap to bring it home! I led a little during the middle of the race when we had a very unusual 50+ lap green flag run. Talyn spun with 15 to go and gave us a much needed caution for tires.
After the caution, and new tires, the car handled like a high price call girl. Very nice!! Talyn restarted the final restart in 4th and me in 2nd. I drove it like I stole it the last two laps and came away with a great win for me. I only extended my points lead by a little as the 2nd place race finisher is also 2nd in the points.
Poor Talyn finished 6 or so I think. Don't know what happened to him. He called me dirty names and left vent amid my yelling and other celebrations!! But he had a rough night. He wrecked with 15 to go on basically worn out tires and I think his car was junk after that.
