Well, at least 2 of us did!! Talyn and I rolled on over to Stompfest LAN in Indianapolis over the weekend...and we had a blast mostly!
Talyn and I were supposed to be joined by BigBoss...but with no schedule posted a few days before hand, he decided to skip this one. We picked up 3 other guys to play in the 5v5 SnD tourney. Palit ponied up 8800gt vid cards to each member of the winning team.
The makeshift Team MoJo rolled through and made it to the finals...then along cam Bog....good for Sabotage, Domination and /map_rotate! Not being the best SnD guys to start with, we had nothing for IndyGamers on this one..they made it look easy to win it! But, 2nd out of 16 teams isn't bad! Now if we had all 5 MoJo's...i'd been rather upset and had spankings all the way around lol good win IG!
The Deathmatch tourney I thought was never gonna get rolling..but when it did it was sorta fun. Everyone had Martyrdom on...but i adapted quickly. Advance through round 1, actually won round 2 on Crash..then here comes Bog again lol I tanked! Somehow Haverchuck from IG surpassed another IG guy (thrash) in the last seconds to take the win...i was too busy ducking for cover to see how close it was...but i know the finish was close.
It was great event where lots of video cards were given away thanks to Palit.
Now we're off to BSG in Michigan to meet up with RA, Lethal and Idipathic...our Michigan guys!! Can't wait for BSG April 11th!!
Thanks to deflamb, bertzie and shadizzy for joining up with us in the SnD tourney. It was great to meet them guys! I will post a team pic later on.
