Week 6 of competitive play saw the CoD4 Red Devils get back to their winning ways. It was a light week for the Devils as we only had 3 matches on the schedule. We played in TWL Snd, Sabotage and HQ and brought home commanding wins in all 3. The teams dedication and hard work really showed this week after a disappointing week 5. The Devils had something to prove this week and they did just that! Oh..and some exciting news comes at the end too!

Tuesday Feb 19th. TWL Hardcore Sabotage on Showdown
This was setup to be a cracking good match. 3-0 MoJo going against 5-0 BOS. The heavily favorite BOS, per the rant boards, looked to be a daunting task ona tough, small map...Showdown. The Red Devils came out blazing hot after hours of practice and held a 3-0 advantage at halftime. BOS then made some subs and it appeared the beast had been woke up as they made it look easy and won round 4.
The 5th round was hard fought by the sounds of it on Ventrilo. BOS planted a few times and OutCold defused with a milisecond left, amid a flurry of e-bullets, and that gave the Devils some spark. MoJo rolls to an impressive win to move to 4-0 and retain their rung on the ladder.

Thursday February 21st. TWL Hardcore SnD on Backlot. **Match of the week
One of our favorite maps and it was the first time we played it competitively. Our opponent was Southern Commandos, 4-2 on the SnD ladder. Aymuni and BigKahuna spent a lot of time going over strats for this and the team was focused on getting a win. We had dropped 2 in a row in SnD and this match saw us get some confidence back.
MoJo was offense first and at the half it was MoJo 8 - 2 SC. The game was over rather quickly after the start of the 2nd half. MoJo 11 - 2 SC.
Not much to say other than the team put a little extra effort into SnD this week after losing 2 last week. This shows what we can do in SnD if people work hard at learning nade points, chokepoints and tactics involved with rushing/defending. Great job Devils, proud of you all on this one!!

Friday February 22nd. TWL Hardcore HQ on Vacant
Still at the #2 spot on the ladder, The Devils were challenged by RTF for that spot. We didn't get a whole lot of practice time on this as we focused more on SnD, but the team made the most of the time they had to learn defensive points on this map.
MoJo was up big towards the end of the first half but got a bit careless. The half time score was 495-120 in favor of MoJo. The second half saw the guys focus more, but yet have a lot of fun, as they shutout RTF in the half to win 1105 - 120.
We retain #2 in the ladder and have all ready challenged the only team to beat us, GoM, for #1. Let's be ready for that match and not have the mental lapses we had the first go around!!
Great week Red Devils. Your dedication and effort practicing and pubbing has really paid off.
The Big Announcement!!
The MoJo Red Devils will enter the world of CAL in season 2!! CAL is midway through season 1 now and the Red Devils will go to CAL and field a Sabotage (or HQ if they have it in season 2) and most likely a SnD team as well.
Our SnD side of the house hasn't been as solid as HQ or Sabotage, but we are rearranging things. We are recruiting some dedicated and skilled SnD players with CAL and TWL experience and leaning on some of the current members as well to step up or be backups...so we should have a stout SnD side before it's all over with. *crosses fingers*
Anyway, you deserve it Devils. You all are fun, super dedicated and have that desire to be the best when game time comes. We have a while to prepare for the change of rulesets and higher competition level....so more work ahead! If all goes well, I might have you gents some sponsors by then. Not promising anything, but trying.
You're a hard working team! We all ready have DGServers partially sponsoring some servers and hopefully I can scrounge you up some more quality sponsors in the near future.
Keep it up Red Devils! Really proud of all of you! And give a shout out to Yoda. Yoda, you're doing a great job leading bud. I knew you would!
