Tonight the MoJo Red Devils Division gave MoJo something we haven't had in over a year...a #1 rung position!! The Devils (3-0 in HQ) faced off against a very strong 11 Bravo team (3-0 in HQ) in a battle for the #1 spot on the TWL Hardcore HQ ladder.
The map was one we were familiar with, Farm......The first half ended dead even at 220 apiece. The Devils then continued their trend of strong finishes pulling out a hard fought win by a score of 520-400. We had our moments where we struggled, but with 7 minutes to go in the match the teams desire and will to win kicked in! It was a great match, great comms and a gritty performance. Kudos to 11Bravo though for putting up a great fight!
Well done Red Devils. No time to get cocky or relaxed. We will be challenged for this spot very soon. Every match from here on out will be tough ones...so the committment needs to be even more. Enjoy it for a little bit though!!

Jan 29th, TWL Hardcore Sabotage. MoJo 4 - 1 Misfits
MoJo won the first round in our very first sabotage ladder match, but the team responded with better comms and teamwork to bring home another win. Map was Crash and a very well executed match in Yoda's first match leading without me by his side.
Jan 30th, TWL Hardcore SnD. MoJo 11 - 6 DoG
Probably the most dramatic match of the week. DoG contested our server setup even though it was correct. The pre-match practice yielded mixed results on Aymuni's strat......so we bagged his strat and went with my strat which was a lot more aggressive. We started 2 people that never played a competitive match and we pulled out a really good win on a tough map, bog.
My goal for the team at the start of the weeks practice was to go 3-0 this week..and they lived up to my challenge for the second week in a row. An impressive 3-0 week for a great group of guys.
Keep it up Devils!! Things will only get harder from here on out. So there is no room for relaxing!!!
Great job in bringing home a #1 rung. We've not had a #1 since the SWB2 days i don't believe. I don't think the Red Orchestra team ever got to #1, just to rung 2.
