MoJo is back... with Quake Wars!!!

Things have been quiet in MoJoVille since the days of SWB2 and our brief stint with CoD2 and our once powerful Red Orchestra teams. But MoJo is now back with a vengence with the long awaited debut of Enemy Territory Quake Wars.

The demo is out, many MoJo's are fragging again and the feedback is positive for the game. Even some old friends, like Ra and Fosaken, have rejoined the ranks and are ready for competition. It's a great game for those of you looking to get back into something. Has a 2142 like feel to it mixed with aspects from other games.....it's a must check out game!

The competion starts this week!!! MoJo has entered in TGL's Scorched Earth Demo Tournament. It's a single elimination bracket type tourney with roughly 65 teams signed up. There's prizes for the top 3 teams and supposedly some random ones drawn as well.

Myself and Talyn will be leading this team, as we did at the end of the old SWB1 days. A lot of history coming back in MoJoVille...can we pick up our winning ways with ETQW??

So, it's time get our MoJo on and get back where we belong...competitive play, and a lot of pubbing and hanging with our MoJo friends!!

Hey guys, I went ahead and did the DL in hopes this is the game that will take me away from WOW (prays). So I think I have been away from these types of games to long so I am going to ask some really dumb ?'s to most of you.

1st: Most of the servers say I need a "Punk Buster" to join ...
2nd: Says i need a PW to join you alls server ...
3rd: Does Cannon still like guys ...

Would like to get away from the evil game called WOW so pls HELP ...

1. yes you need PunkBuster to play on most servers. look up in the left corner and you should be able to turn it on.

2. practice server is the only one passworded.

Oh well guess this is just not going to work :) . I can see everything going into the game, the char screen but once in the game everything is green. I can see my cross hairs, my map the chat even the green targets with player names but the rest is all green. The only way I can see in the game if I pick a player that has a scope and then the game is fine, graphics and all. Its just when I am not looking through a scope I can not see my surroundings and its upsetting because you guys had a lot on.

I DL the game twice after and still have that green screen. Even set all my settings to low and nothing. It does look great looking through a scope though.

Good seeing you all in there fragging again, looked like fun :) .

LOL I know RA, Holder of the comp he bought in 1985, is talking trash about my comp :) ...

I have a Radeon ATI PCI Express .... just wrote was on the box so I hope this helps bud.

Like I said the game looks great through a scope but once I click off the scope it is a green screen :(

Pls help me RA and I will rent Cannon out to you this winter

Select Operating System, Make and Model #



To find your make/model go to.....

Control panel/system/cllick on hardware tab

Then you will see a device manager. Click on that

Scroll down to Display adaptors and expand that tree. You should see your make/model there. A picture has been provided below.

Or, you can press Start/Run/and type dxdiag and press enter. After a moment click on the display and it will be on the top left.



If you still cant figure it out from there, I reccomend trying the Belarc Advisor.

Then go back to the link at the top and try the latest. However, you might just do better with the latest from DirectX. To do that run windows update and do the custom install instead of express.

A few of the ATI cards have known issues with Quake Wars (I did a little reading). Some of the updates work, but you may not see a real fix until it's released.

Yea does not work ... so guess have to wait for release :(

Oh well you all need the practice before I come back anyhow, dont want anyone to start crying so soon :).

WOW is an evil evil game but with Halo and this now I think I might be able to break the curse real soon ....
